Day Nine

For God is my witness, whom I serve in my spirit in the gospel of his Son, how unceasingly I make mention of you, always in my prayers. (ROM 1:9).

God Speaks to you in His Word!

For these 30 days I want to help you achieve greater sexual self-control and management, spiritual renewal, and greater resolution of your SSA (same-sex attraction) dilemma. For each day there is a:
(1) Bible passage for your self-reflection in which God speaks to you. Ask, "What is my Father God, in the Lord Jesus, saying to me personally in this passage through the Holy Spirit?"
(2) There is a helpful Reflection, insight or understanding, and
(3) There is an Action to take which will enable you to grow in some way.

God has Called Me Personally!
You can be sure of this, it will involve what is most personal and most real in you and about you. It will be his most personal touch on your life. And because it is so personal a touch of God your Father, if you allow Him to do this work in you, you will come to know the Living God like you never have before.
It's a personal work between you and God from beginning to end. Please let this thought stay with you for awhile. Listen to what His Spirit is saying inside you! What are you experiencing as you reflect on these truths?

God knew you personally from His first conception of you; you personally. That's right, God conceived you before your parents did. He imagined you in His heart of love. He said I want (say your first and surname name right here)............. to be born, to grow, to come to know me, be born again through faith in my Son Jesus, be filled with my Spirit and one day be with me in heaven forever.
He knows about all the circumstances and experiences which caused the sexual struggle in your life also. Because He knows all of the causes He also knows all of the things which will heal and change you. He is using this program as one of those tools for healing in your life. I can tell you that He is pleased with your working this program. He rejoices to see you getting serious about this work.

God has a plan for your life; you personally. Undoubtedly that plan involves your service to His kingdom in some form of ministry. There are no passengers in the kingdom of God. Everyone is called to be active in some measure to serve God's work on earth. This is true of your life also. He has a work in store for you. Or, if you are already doing work in His kingdom, He desires that it become more fruitful and less contaminated by your sexual sin. God knows that you cannot be fruitful in the kingdom of God unless you gain sexual self-control and resolution of your homosexual struggle.

2. Reflect and write your reactions to the fact that God loves you, He conceived you in love, and has a plan for you PERSONALLY.
